A huge THANK YOU to Starla Bickerstaff, Director of Community Engagement at the East Texas Food Bank, for joining this month’s Genesis Refuel & Refocus! Her powerful message shed light on the critical work the Food Bank is doing across 26 counties. In 2024, the ETFB provided over 31 million meals to around 208,000 households through 200 partner agencies and feeding programs.Despite these incredible efforts, food insecurity remains a pressing issue: 1 in 5 East Texans and 1 in 4 children still face hunger. With food costs rising and federal aid shrinking, the need for support has never been greater.Want to help? Every dollar donated can provide up to 5 meals.
